Building PRM Education Pathways in Sub-Saharan Africa:

Despite the World Health Assembly's resolution on strengthening rehabilitation in health systems, a critical shortage of trained PRM physicians persists in low- and middle income countries.
Especially in Sub-Saharan Africa region, the absence of PRM training severely limits the capacity to develop a strong, multidisciplinary rehabilitation workforce.
At this year’s ISPRM Congress in Marrakesh, Morocco, we are hosting a workshop on how to start a PRM education in regions with an absence of PRM specialty training pathways.
A call to action for PRM training in Sub-Saharan Africa is needed. Join us at our workshop at the ISPRM Congress in Marrakesh to address the urgent need for structured PRM training pathways.
